I have always loved to travel. I didn't get to do it much as a kid or a young adult. Over the last several years I have made it a mission to travel whenever my schedule and wallet allow. I named my site Roadmap Rachel because when I was young I had a great sense of direction and my friends knew they never needed a map when I was around. They started calling me Roadmap Rachel.

My favorite places so far have been The Philippines and Aruba! The people and food were amazing in the Philippines plus the beaches were out of this world. I love Aruba because it is easy to get to, it's safe, the weather is gorgeous, the people are friendly, the food is delicious and the beaches were beautiful! I love warm vacations!
